Hardwood Floor Sanding and Refinishing

Do you have an existing hardwood floor that is in disrepair? Choose one of our refinishing services.

Sanding and refinishing
This process is for existing hardwood floors that are heavily worn with deep scratches. Sanding removes scratches and old residues. Refinishing seals and coats a newly sanded floor. Choose from a satin, semi-gloss or glossy finish. Use the floor in 24 to 48 hours, depending on the finish.

Buffing and Recoating
This process is for existing hardwood floors with minor surface scratches and whose finish has dulled. Buffing or screening removes minor scratches and prepares the floor to accept the top coat. Takes one day; floor can be used in 24 hours.

Staining Hardwood Floors
Add rich color to your hardwood floors with a selection f premixed or custom-mixed stains. Stains are hand-rubbed into the floors for an even application. We can custom mix to match existing floor in your home. After staining floors are finished with a water or oil based finish and then buffed to the desired sheen, either satin or high-gloss. Takes up to 3 days.

Hardwood Floor Installation

When you need new floor installation, you can choose from finished and unfinished hardwood, engineering floor, or laminate.

Unfinished Floors
This is the most common flooring installation. Unfinished floors are installed as raw wood, tongue and groove product on all 4 sides; they are sanded, stained and finished on site to suit the homeowner's taste. A variety of stains and finishes may be used. There will be some noise and dust associated with this process. There's nothing quite like a good site finished floor. Takes 2 to 3 days depending on the size of the space.

Pe-Finished Floors
Pre-finished flooring is available in many styles, widths, colors and species. Pre-finished flooring is typically a 3/4" solid nail down product and requires no sanding. Pre-finished floors can be refinished numerous times. Takes 1 to 3 days depending on the size of the space.

Floating Floors
Floating floors are typically a laminated, snap together floor in a variety of styles and colors. Floating floors are excellent for over concrete installations such as basement remodels.

Decorative woodwork
Add a border or medallion to your beautiful hardwood floor. Time of completion varies according to the complexity of the work to be done.
